“This is the first time I’ve written a review, and I was compelled to do so because of the experience I had recently at Tim’s Aatco. The business was highly recommended to me, and I went in for an assessment of my Honda, since I’ve been getting a warning prompt on my panel that there is a transmission system problem. Tim checked it out in about 20 minutes and found that the transmission does indeed need to be overhauled. He went to the added trouble of checking if there was a recall on the problem, since the vehicle has fairly low mileage. He found that there is an extended warranty for the issue and advised me to go to the dealer for the repair. He didn’t charge me for his time, and I found him to be very helpful and straightforward. I appreciated his kindness, candor and no BS approach. If it turns out that the dealer will not or cannot fix the issue, I will not hesitate to take my car to Tim for the repair. Five stars all the way!”

“I came in with a CEL for a transmission issue for my ‘01 4Runner just hitting 190K miles a few months ago. Tim & crew ran some diagnostics and determined the bad news. Didn’t try to sugarcoat the issue and was upfront that it needs a full transmission rebuild, quoted me a reasonable price (I priced around) and I got it done in a timely manner. Highly recommend his shop for all your transmission work!
